Read cme's copyright-scan-patterns.yml, and fix what refnx showed up
refnx's maintainer had told cme, in debian/copyright-scan-patterns.yml,
to ignore refnx/reflect/_app/ui/licences/: the licence texts of numpy,
scipy, Qt and others that the app's About dialog shows, whose code is
not in the source. dfsg-author-check reported their holders as missing.
The ignore: section is now read as cme reads it (suffixes, and patterns
matched against "./path"). Holders found in the files it ignores are
listed apart, as "ignored" in JSON, and are not missing: they change
neither -q nor the exit status, and are in no Files paragraph. A file
that cannot be read ignores nothing, and a pattern Go cannot compile is
left out; each is a warning.
Besides:
- Files in a directory named license(s) or licence(s) are licence
files, so the FSF's line in a copy of the GPL there is passed over.
- An acronym in capitals matches the words it is the initials of,
either way round, when the rest of the names match: "A. R. J. Nelson,
ANSTO", and ESRF in four trees of /usr/src/dfsg.
- A copyright line naming two holders, each after its years, is read
as two, as debian/copyright already was: "2001-2002 Enthought, Inc.
2003, SciPy Developers".
- "Modified ..." after a holder (libjpeg's), and a second dash after an
open range of years ("2015- - Name"), are left out of the holder.
Over the 111 trees in /usr/src/dfsg, the reports of six change: ESRF
matched in four, libjpeg's two holders named in freeimage, and this
package's own test strings read differently.
debian/changelog has it in 0.1.1.
