version in VCS is newer than in repository, is it time to upload? normal
vcswatch reports that this package seems to have a new changelog entry (version 3.4.0-2~pre1, distribution UNRELEASED) and new commits in its VCS. You should consider whether it's time to make an upload.

Here are the relevant commit messages:
commit 5e4ac3b7fc5627ea45a9d4d72d8bc307757ab0e0
Author: Ben Finney <bignose@debian.org>
Date: Wed Oct 14 17:25:12 2026 +1100

Remove versioned constraint on “Build-Depends: python3-pytest”.

The minimum version is already satisfied in all supported Debian releases.

commit 2a05eea2fc4aa552fdf86d96dcbd848c43add669
Author: Ben Finney <bignose@debian.org>
Date: Wed Oct 14 17:24:01 2026 +1100

Remove superfluous specification of `--test-pytest` option.

This is already declared with “Build-Depends: python3-pytest”.

commit 575d2316df28f788bd609609a5d076bd833fbc02
Author: Ben Finney <bignose@debian.org>
Date: Wed Oct 14 17:21:22 2026 +1100

    Remove unused `PYBUILD_INSTALL_ARGS`.

The ‘PYBUILD_INSTALL_ARGS’ variable (and the ‘--install-args’ option) value
was used as arguments to ‘… setup.py install’. That installation method is
now deprecated by Python upstream. See
    <URL:https://packaging.python.org/en/latest/discussions/setup-py-deprecated/>.

The ‘pyproject’ build system does not use these arguments. The PyPA
‘installer’ functionality (packaged in Debian as ‘python3-installer’)
unpacks the Python wheel. See <URL:https://installer.pypa.io/>.

commit 9796b859a09b26b683f8c146f29a97a3fa844cb7
Author: Ben Finney <bignose@debian.org>
Date: Wed Oct 14 17:19:10 2026 +1100

    Remove custom AutoPkgTest suite.

This is now superfluous with the PyTest behaviour of importing specific
    Python modules.

commit 425bfe591e7218a4405a9584c61acbbca168aad2
Author: Ben Finney <bignose@debian.org>
Date: Wed Oct 14 17:18:39 2026 +1100

Specify the Python module to import for PyTest suite.

commit 6eaae135a8d483adf580d1169dc59e46ac874264
Author: Ben Finney <bignose@debian.org>
Date: Wed Oct 14 17:08:35 2026 +1100

Remove unnecessary removal of PyTest cruft.

PyBuild creates a temporary directory for the test suite run, and removes
    that directory afterward.

commit 50c41a02008848a962e67c947aa10485167c3fa2
Author: Ben Finney <bignose@debian.org>
Date: Wed Oct 14 17:06:29 2026 +1100

Remove superfluous declaration of Python build system in `PYBUILD_SYSTEM`.

The existing “Build-Depends: pybuild-plugin-pyproject” already declares the
    Python build system.
