fenicsx-compat (0.4.0-2) unstable; urgency=medium

  * Recommends: python3-adios2 to help resolve dependencies
    alongside python3-adios2-mpi
  * Build-Depends: python3-all-dev to include headers for non-default
    python3 versions used in expression testing (via ffcx/dolfinx jit).
    Also in debian/tests.

fenicsx-compat (0.4.0-1) unstable; urgency=medium

  * Initial release. (Closes: #1152268)
  * run tests using pytest
    - skip test_every_public_function_has_a_guide_entry since docs are
      not built (jupyter-book is not yet packaged for Debian)
  * python3-fenicsx-compat Recommends:python3-adios2-mpi,
    python3-mpi4py, python3-petsc4py (technically optional depending
    on what you want to use fenicsx-compat for, but would be strange
    not to have them installed). Required for tests.
  * debian patch force-adios2-mpi.patch sets env var
    ADIOS2_ALWAYS_USE_MPI=1 in __init__.py to force use of the MPI
    build of adios2 (even in serial execution), since debian also
    provides adios2-serial, but dolfinx requires adios2-mpi.
