osrm-backend (26.5.0+dfsg1-1) unstable; urgency=medium

  * New upstream version 26.5.0.
    Upstream dropped bundled third_party libraries in favour of vcpkg;
    all are replaced by Debian packaged versions.
  * Add libarchive-dev and sol2-dev to Build-Depends.
  * Refresh patch 10_use-system-libraries.patch for new upstream.
  * Replace patch 20_add-flatbuffers-schemas.patch with new
    20_fix-cmake-issues.patch:
    - Regenerate flatbuffers headers at configure time via flatc
      instead of the build-time flatbuffers_generate_headers() vcpkg macro.
    - Fix TBB CMake 4.x imported target configuration mapping: Debian's
      libtbb-dev only provides the "None" cmake configuration.
    - Work around Debian sol2-dev 3.5.0 regression: copy and fix
      usertype_container.hpp into the build directory.
  * Enable build-time unit tests via patch 40_enable-build-tests.patch:
    replace scripts/md5sum.js with system md5sum and stub out the timer
    wrapper; monaco.osm.pbf test data is included in the dfsg tarball.
  * Update debian/copyright for new upstream source layout.

  * debian/tests/routing, debian/tests/routing-mld: normalize JSON before
    comparing against golden files, stripping architecture-dependent fields
    (hints, waypoint names, node IDs) and sorting keys to fix autopkgtest
    failures on big-endian s390x.
  * debian/tests/control: add jq to Depends for routing and routing-mld tests.
  * debian/control: restore Architecture: any for all binary packages.
