pdfjs-openjpeg (0.0~git20260423+ds-4) unstable; urgency=medium * Skip the autopkgtest on big-endian hosts. The decoder reads its linear memory through typed arrays, which follow the host byte order, so on s390x the samples are byte-swapped and the WebAssembly instance aborts with "memory access out of bounds". Upstream's JavaScript fallback is generated with wasm2js and uses the same typed-array access, so it cannot be used as a workaround either. -- Emfox Zhou Tue, 27 Oct 2026 22:55:50 +0800 pdfjs-openjpeg (0.0~git20260423+ds-3) unstable; urgency=medium * Fall back to the JavaScript build of the decoder when the WebAssembly engine cannot compile the module, as on riscv64 where V8 has no Wasm SIMD support. This also matches how pdf.js picks the build. -- Emfox Zhou Sat, 24 Oct 2026 09:05:00 +0800 pdfjs-openjpeg (0.0~git20260423+ds-2) unstable; urgency=medium * Decode a JPEG 2000 image in the autopkgtest instead of only checking that the file exists. * Tell pkg-js-autopkgtest that this is not a Node module, so its generated require test stops failing and the package can migrate to testing. * Convert the watch file to version 5 and fix its pattern, which had no version delimiters. -- Emfox Zhou Fri, 23 Oct 2026 22:20:00 +0800 pdfjs-openjpeg (0.0~git20260423+ds-1) unstable; urgency=medium * Initial release (Closes: #1149231). * Do not ship the parts of OpenJPEG that the wasm build never compiles: the third-party copies under thirdparty/ (libpng, libtiff, lcms2, zlib, astyle), the documentation, tests, tools and maintenance scripts. debian/patches/0003 turns BUILD_CODEC off, so the CMake configuration no longer looks for them. * debian/copyright: give the remaining OpenJPEG tree its own File paragraphs and licence texts, taken over from the openjpeg2 package, instead of the single placeholder line that covered all of it. -- Emfox Zhou Tue, 29 Sep 2026 10:09:43 +0800
