- Drop 0002-FTBFS-timeouts-in-some-archs.patch; upstream now ships
the same timeout values.
- Refresh skip-test_connect-test.patch against the reordered
test_connect.py. The upstream bug it works around is still open.
- Add replace-pkg-resources-with-packaging.patch to fix an FTBFS:
setup.py checks the Cython version with pkg_resources, which
setuptools 84 removed, and d/rules builds with --cython-always so
the check always runs.
- Add relax-cython-version-requirement.patch: upstream requires
Cython >= 3.2.1, but the 3.1.6 in Debian compiles all of asyncpg's
.pyx sources cleanly.
* d/control:
- Bump Standards-Version to 4.7.4; drop the no-longer-recommended
Priority field and the now-redundant (dpkg >= 1.22.13 default)
Rules-Requires-Root field.
- Swap Maintainer/Uploaders to match Debian Python Team convention.
- Bump the cython3 build-dependency to the version actually needed.
- Add python3-packaging, used by setup.py's Cython version check.
- Add Testsuite: autopkgtest-pkg-pybuild; the package shipped no
autopkgtest at all.
- Fix a typo in the package description.
* d/copyright: add the missing dep5 Source field and a stanza for the
newly vendored pythoncapi_compat.h (0BSD).
* d/rules: drop a dead, overwritten PYBUILD_TEST_ARGS assignment.
* Add d/gbp.conf, d/upstream/metadata and d/salsa-ci.yml, none of which
the package had.
