* Drop leftover version-based --enable-cross-compiling test, superseded
in -6 by the compiled-code-format check.
* Build-depend on mit-scheme or mit-scheme-svm per architecture rather
than as an alternative series, to get the buildds to bring in the
right prerequisite.
* Patch to build doc/, src/microcode/ and src/ with automake, leaving no
hand-written Makefile.in. The manuals' .texi sources are renamed to
the names they install under, and @setfilename removed, per modern
texinfo.
* Fix parallel build and drop --no-parallel. compile-<plugin>-c, which
ran the same recursive make as compile-<plugin> and so could build a
plugin twice at once, is now confined to the (disabled) C back end
that uses it.
* makegen writes a fragment that microcode's Makefile.am includes,
rather than a whole Makefile.in, and make refreshes it when a Scheme
is available. automake derives the objects and header dependencies.
* Drop patches sequentialize-docs, verbose-texi2dvi and
texi2any-_html-fix, all made redundant by the above.
* Reorder the patch series: upstream fixes, then the build system, then
the Debian-specific ones, so upstream can take a prefix of it. Use
AC_CONFIG_MACRO_DIR to find the local m4 file, in place of including
it by hand
