   * Fix some nasty little networking gotchas:
     * newio.c (set_socket_options): use sizeof(struct linger) instead of
       sizeof(int).
     * network.c (connect_by_number): don't do absurdly incorrect casts
       on remoteaddr.
   * Lintian-cleaned.
