Does not build reproducibly during testing normal
A package building reproducibly enables third parties to verify that the source matches the distributed binaries. It has been identified that this source package produced different results, failed to build or had other issues in a test environment. Please read about how to improve the situation!

debian/patches: 1 patch to forward upstream low

Among the 3 debian patches available in version 7.1-006-1 of the package, we noticed the following issues:

  • 1 patch where the metadata indicates that the patch has not yet been forwarded upstream. You should either forward the patch upstream or update the metadata to document its real status.

No known security issue in bookworm wishlist

There are 2 open security issues in bookworm.

2 ignored issues:
  • CVE-2021-44496: An issue was discovered in FIS GT.M through V7.0-000 (related to the YottaDB code base). Using crafted input, an attacker can control the size variable and buffer that is passed to a call to memcpy. An attacker can use this to overwrite key data structures and gain control of the flow of execution.
  • CVE-2021-44504: An issue was discovered in FIS GT.M through V7.0-000 (related to the YottaDB code base). Using crafted input, an attacker can cause a size variable, stored as an signed int, to equal an extremely large value, which is interpreted as a negative value during a check. This value is then used in a memcpy call on the stack, causing a memory segmentation fault.
