1 security issue in forky high

There is 1 open security issue in forky.

1 important issue:
  • CVE-2026-33996: LibJWT is a C JSON Web Token Library. Starting in version 3.0.0 and prior to version 3.3.0, the JWK parsing for RSA-PSS did not protect against a NULL value when expecting to parse JSON string values. A specially crafted JWK file could exploit this behavior by using integers in places where the code expected a string. This was fixed in v3.3.0. A workaround is available. Users importing keys through a JWK file should not do so from untrusted sources. Use the `jwk2key` tool to check for validity of a JWK file. Likewise, if possible, do not use JWK files with RSA-PSS keys.

Standards version of the package is outdated. wishlist
The package should be updated to follow the last version of Debian Policy (Standards-Version 4.7.4 instead of 4.7.2).

testing migrations
  • This package will soon be part of the auto-openssl transition. You might want to ensure that your package is ready for it. You can probably find supplementary information in the debian-release archives or in the corresponding release.debian.org bug.
  • excuses:
    • Migration status for libjwt3 (3.2.3-1 to 3.3.2-1): Waiting for test results or another package, or too young (no action required now - check later)
    • Issues preventing migration:
    • ∙ ∙ Autopkgtest for libjwt3/3.3.2-1: amd64: Pass, arm64: Pass, i386: Pass, ppc64el: Test triggered, riscv64: Pass, s390x: Pass
    • ∙ ∙ Too young, only 2 of 5 days old
    • Additional info (not blocking):
    • ∙ ∙ Piuparts tested OK - https://piuparts.debian.org/sid/source/libj/libjwt3.html
    • ∙ ∙ Reproduced on amd64
    • ∙ ∙ Reproduced on arm64
    • ∙ ∙ Reproduced on armhf
    • ∙ ∙ Reproduced on i386
    • ∙ ∙ Reproducibility check waiting for results on ppc64el
