    check-repos: fix exit code wraparound; add .gitignore
    
    Exit codes are taken modulo 256, so exactly 256 failures would have
    made check-repos exit 0. Exit 1 on any failure instead.
    
    Also ignore generated junit reports and the public/ directory.

    claude-desktop: disable automatic addition to apt sources
    
    This causes duplicates since extrepo also adds it under different
    filename, so better just disable it before package is installed.
